2014 TM2500 Plus SAC Expected Maintenance
This document outlines the expected maintenance of the TM2500 Plus SAC Gas Turbine Package when operated in accordance with the OEM recommended procedures. The estimates provided below include maintenance of the TM2500 Plus SAC engine and periodic inspections of the turbine control system and auxiliaries.
Maintenance of the TM2500 Plus SAC Gas Turbine consists of periodic inspections and condition-based refurbishment of the engine. Routine maintenance as described in the Operations & Maintenance Manual is customer’s responsibility and not included in the price estimates provided below.
Periodic Inspections
Ø Borescope inspections of the engine are performed approximately every 4000 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
Ø An annual package inspection and controls calibration are also recommended and included in the estimates provided below.
Condition-based maintenance consists of the following:
Ø Hot Section & Combustor Rotable Exchange - Performed as appropriate in light of the operation and condition of the engine; expected to occur at approximately 25,000 fired hours of natural gas operation. The existing hot section and combustor modules will be removed, and refurbished replacement modules will be installed.
Ø Major Overhaul - Performed as appropriate in light of the operation and condition of the engine; expected to occur at approximately 50,000 fired hours. The engine will be removed from the plant site and taken to a GE overhaul depot for performance of the overhaul work. Key features of this overhaul are a complete tear down and inspection of engine and rebuilding with new or refurbished parts as required.
The maintenance described above will include parts, labor, and technical services for the Borescope and Package Inspections, Hot Section & Combustor Rotable Exchanges, and the Major Overhauls. Scheduled maintenance events from inspections to overhauls can be completed with minimum downtime; usually on weekends or other low demand periods (usually 1-5 days; assuming a Lease engine is used during overhaul).
