The General Purpose Vest with  Collar is designed as a basic Armor vest for the Police and private security companies.

It provides front, back, side and neck ballistic protection.

As an armor it has the following inclusive properties:

•             Resistance to perforation by bullets fired from Hand Guns, Carbines.

•             Resistance to Automatic/Burst fire from 9mm Sub-Machine guns.

•             Resistance to Rifle fire with the Plates fitted. [NIJ 111 or NIJ IV]

•             Minimizes Blunt Trauma, behind the Body Armor

•             Very high attenuation of blunt impact energy. (Kicks, punches, bricks, etc.)

•             Lightweight, protective, armor.

•             Fully tested, Approved & Documented by many customers and authorities

•             Low Maintenance product

•             Outstanding resistance to chemical and biological attack.

•             Outstanding resistance to physical damage.

•             Very high tensile strength. (Greater than that of steel).

General Specifications.

1. Lightness of weight.

2. The vests are constructed from Composite Double layers of Aramid fabric, which has been Quilt stitched, to give additional strength.

3. The Outer cover is made from Hard wearing Cordura fabric, which is Fire resistant and is backed by a special wicking fabric to give a comfortable, next to skin or over shirt finish. This also works as a significant heat Management System

4. The Vest and Plates [when fitted] have multi hit protection

5. The Vest protects the Front, Back, Over Shoulder, Sides, as standard

6. All covers are removable, for washing and cleaning. Covers can be manufactured from Flame retardant material as an option

7. The Vests as designed are very easy to wear and allow the wearer to perform all the normal duties associated with Military and Police operations

8. Vest colors and badges are to customer specification

9. The Vests are the lightest protection available, meeting the NIJ [USA] standard

10. Vests are available in Male and Female sizes, from 38” chest to 52” as standard, other sizes to order

11. Due to the technical benefits of the material incorporated into these vests, there is no requirement to fit additional protective trauma shields

12. Removable ballistic panels in a water proof sealed PVC bag and Washable outer covers

Warranty

The Armor  material has a shelf life in excess of five years.

Therefore the Armor is warranted for 5 years.

The Covers are warranted for 1/2 year depending on the Cover material used.

Test reports by recognized testing facilities can be provided on request for all the materials
