SENTRY II PROTECTION PLATFORM

Sentri II Platform

Sentri II is a platform that integrates sensory technology, cameras, and communication systems to efficiently detect and report specific stimuli:

  • *The basic platform hears, sees, and thinks

  • *Options can be added for smell and feel

Platform Operation

Sentri II detects and identifies a sound and then directs its camera to the source within a fraction of a second, giving a complete view of the situation.

The system senses specific neural stimuli including:

  • *Weapons fire, chambering a round, voice or other sound signatures

  • *Movement or changes in scenery or property

  • *Chemical or biological weapon signatures

  • *Seismic and pressure sensors

Stimuli Triggered Action

System sensors detect stimuli based on intelligent rules and react automatically to:

  • *Pinpoint the location of the stimuli

  • *Pan the camera to the location immediately

  • *Send the alarm (audible & visual) to preset locations

  • *Send real-time images and audio to preset locations

  • *Activate the system strobe light or beacon

Key Features

Key features for the basic platform include:

  • *Pan-zoom-tilt, full-spectrum addressable camera

  • *Acoustic identification system that determines direction and range of preprogrammed stimuli

  • *Wireless data and video transfer to a designated source

  • *Weather-resistant casing and lens

Popular Options

Popular options to the Sentri II system include customization of the camera and biometrics:

Camera

  • *Increased optical power

  • *Optical sensitivity for low-light settings

  • *Infrared heat sensor detection

  • *Laser motion sensor detection

*Biometric database and tracking

  • *Link to external database for matching and identification (e.g. facial recognition)

  • *Automatically follow suspects through crowd

Additional unit options include:

  • *Internal recording unit

  • *Bulletproof casing

  • *Bulletproof lens cover

  • *Strobe light

  • *Heater or air conditioning

  • *Alternative power backup

  • *Custom receivers and transmitters

Acoustic Detection Rules

Acoustic sensors can be customized to recognize specific sound signatures, including:

  • *Gunshots

  • *Breaking glass

  • *Engine noise

  • *Chain link fence breaches

  • *Other requested sounds

Sentri II Surveillance

Biometric Camera Control

Improved Situational Awareness

Maximize Installation Coverage

Positive Impact on Crime Index

Chemical Detection

Chemical detection is not commonly available:

  • *Chemical threats are increasingly the focus of Homeland Security and other protection groups

  • *Detection units in use may only detect the presence of a chemical, but not the level

  • *Sentri II’s sensors can be customized for a wide variety of chemicals

Chemical Analysis

Chemical sensors can be customized to perform analytical measurements, including:

  • *Volatile organic vapors and odors in near real-time with part-per-trillion sensitivity

  • *Contraband

  • *Illegal substances

  • *Explosives

  • *Bio-chemical threats over the range of C6 to C30

Airborne Detection

Chemical sensors can detect airborne chemical agents and substances, including picograms of nerve, blister, and pulmonary agents contained in:

  • *Packages, parcels, and envelopes

  • *Shipping containers

  • *Gas tanks

  • *Enclosed compartments of vehicles

  • *Public venues, such as sports arenas and stadiums

  • *Airports

  • *Shipping docks

Explosive Detection

Identifying an explosive device before it can be detonated or transported is essential:

Biological Agent Detection

Biological sensors can detect a wide variety of active and degraded agents:

  • *Atmospheric

  • *Liquid

  • *Viral threats

Seismic and Vibration Sensing

Movement can be detected in a variety of wet and dry environments, including:

  • *Isolated storage and lights-out warehouses

  • *Border crossing areas

  • *Remote road, beach, and landing strips used for drug trafficking

  • *Military installations

  • *Building perimeters, such as sensitive or controversial research labs

  • *Prisons, jails, and work farms

Direct Benefits

The Sentri II reduces risk and threat levels and the only proactive system that assesses capability in real-time mode:

  • *Correlates to legislative and Homeland Security initiatives

  • *Protects critical infrastructure

  • *Effectively increases resource utilization

  • *Decreases long-term (3 yr) costs by 44%

Indirect Benefits

  • *Provides opportunity to redeploy or reallocate resources

  • *Provides continuous monitoring, regardless of weather

  • *Increases long-term technological advantage

  • *Allows redistribution of units to respond to situational changes and major events
