real time viewing system mk iv
Real Time Viewing System has been an integral part of the EOD Teams around the globe for quarter of century for detection and disposal of lEDs Even today RTVS model MK IV, a X-Ray based technology is considered an essential tool of Rendering Safe Procedure Teams With constant inputs from different users and EOD specialists, we have developed the latest in series RTVS MK V
It uses state of art continuous wave variable output innovative X-Ray technology that gives it a far superiority over any other equipment of its kind. It outperforms contemporary 150 kV cold cathodes pulsed
This is a very powerful and must tool for Bomb Detection and Disposal teams MK-V is a fully digital X-ray system that combines an latest generation X-ray source with a hi-tech laptop extendable, image capture unit and an exceptional software Not only it sets a new standard for image quality, it also provides EOD technicians, customs, police, the army and other law enforcement agents with all the features necessary to respond confidentially, efficiently, quickly and more safely to incidents of threats posed by the terrorist Features
· 100%
portability: equipment is battery powered, light, small and robust · Fully digital · Very fast set-up and rapid starting sequence (30 secs) by the optimisation of the Linux kernel and 3 seconds image acquisition · Flexibility: Image capture unit can be connected to any computer (Cost saving) · Crisp image: Easy to use and powerful constant potential variable output 40 -120kV X-ray generator - very wide beam angle, very small focal spot (up to a 5x magnification without blurring) · integral rotating handling and positioning fixture allows image capture kept above ground level without any attachment Sophisticated and user-friendly Software: Capture of 4 successive images at different tube voltages for progressive depth penetration studies and/or for time resolved studies, reverse black & white, pseudo 3D, zoom, annotation tools, contrast stretch makes it easier to differentiate from organic and organic · kV and mA of X-ray generator can be adjusted via laptop · Easy software upgrades via the internet · Powerful database management tools · Large image capture screen · Fits easily on an explosive ordnance and surveillance robot · Completely independent operation · Batteries recharge in 1h · 2 robust, light and optimised aluminum carrying cases · Easy to understand user’s manual · Optional facility: wireless communication Image Capture unit The RTVS MK V image capture unit is PC based and contains a web browser This enables connection to any kind of laptop without additional software The powerful device processes and transfers all images to a laptop at a very fast rate. Image quality is maximized by use of a fluoroscopic screen and camera with matched spectral output and response characteristics For complete independence, the unit is powered by a Ni-Cad battery, which recharges in 1 hour. X-ray generator The CPI 201 is the most advanced portable security X-ray generator available in the market Powered by a 36Vdc battery, its constant potential output produces a stable, penetrating and contrast-rich beam The small focal spot makes up to 5 times magnification possible without loss of image sharpness The kV and mA of the CP12O1 can be regulated, to give optimum right quality of X-rays and the correct dose EOD personnel can select output level to suit each, individual suspect item The four successive image captures at different settings for progressive penetration depth studies makes it easy to differentiate between organic and inorganic The wide beam angle allows the generator to be placed very close (32 cm/i 2% in) to the image capture unit, thereby increasing the effective penetration capability of the system as a whole Last but by no means least, the rotating handle doubles up as an accurate positioning device, enabling the EOD technician to pinpoint the X-ray beam on a precise spot of a potentially dangerous object Laptop specification The modular design concept of the RTVS MK V gives buyers a significant cost saving by using its own existing Lap Top The image capture unit communicates data uses the universal web browser protocol (http), images can be viewed on any up-to-date laptop The minimum requirements are: > Laptop with 14.1” screen (35.8cm) > 100Mb Ethernet network card > CD writer > WindowsXP > 256k RAM Software The sophisticated and user-friendly software is located in the image capture unit The image processing features like reverse black & white, pseudo 3D, pseudo color, zoom, contrast stretch, annotation tools, 4 successive images capture for time resolved studies are some of its unique features The 4 successive image captures at different X-ray voltages for progressive depth penetration assists the operator to differentiate and identify the inside objects of the suspected threat article more easily The multiple successive X-ray with variable voltages makes it very near to future development of multi-energy RTVS. The Intranet communication system, allows the image capture unit to forward all images without any loss of quality to the laptop at an impressively fast rate
For this reason, the interface can be any web browser: Mozilla Netscape Internet Explorer 6.0 The EOD field personnel through their own secured internet connection can send images and other information for onsite expert help and advise. Carrying cases 2 very light, robust, easily carried, reinforced aluminum cases. Fast battery charger The fast battery charger charges one battery in one hour, optimizes the charge, protects the batteries and extends their lifetime. Interconnectivity Interconnectivity between laptop and image capture is through a 50 m /164 ft reel drum (faster set-up and greater ease of operation) Option Fully secured and encrypted wireless communication between the generator and image capture unit.
