FBB BOX BODY
The Better Distribution Vehicle
FFB Box Body – for truly efficient parcel delivery
With the FFB, totaly redefined every aspect of what it means to be economically efficient in the distribution sector. Parcel delivery services using this box body have, in comparison to conventional delivery vans, considerable time saving advantages each day. Access to the cargo hold from the cab and a folding shelf system make the work for the delivery driver more efficient and energy saving. Together with the lateral sided; linearly opening sliding door, unnecessary trips around the vehicle can be avoided. Box bodies of 15 – 26 m³ can be mounted onto standard chassis of all known manufacturers and can be delivered at short noticed due to a pool of available chassis. The extremely repair and maintenance friendly complete aluminium body has a lifespan of more than 15 years and can, during this time, be transferred onto new chassis inexpensively. Many parcel delivery companies are already profiting from the many advantages and the timesaving design of the FFB. See for yourself!
An investment well worth it! The advantage of saving time
A delivery van with a FFB BOX Body can be loaded first thing in the morning, at the parcel depot, directly by the parcel conveyer belt without pre-sorting, all due to it’s large box body volume and it’s flexible shelf system. The delivery distance is reduced significantly in the course of the day – during delivery – by accessing the cargo hold from the cab. Short distances reduce the time taken per stop, allowing for more stops in the same or even less time. The measured time saved per stop is approx. 30 sec. – 1 min. This adds up to 1-2 hours per working day. Which means delivering more parcels more efficiently!
Feasibility The FFB Box Body can be transferred onto a new chassis after reaching the old chassis has reached it’s capacity limit or after heavy accidental damage. The body has a lifespan of more than 15 years due to high quality workmanship and the use of aluminium. It is self-supporting and has no friction-locked connection to the cab, but is merely connected to the cab by rubber joint in the area of the passageway. The body can therefore be transferred cost effectively and with little effort. This reduces the acquisition cost for new delivery vans significantly in the long term.
