Ammunition PldvK vz. 53/59  

In the Czechoslovak People's Army and the successor armies after the collapse of the republic,  6 types of cartridges were introduced into the armament. The cartridges were the same for all  types, diƯering only in the projectile/grenade used. The projectile/grenade is firmly connected to  the cartridge case into one unit. Cartridges consist of a cartridge case, a primer screw and a  bullet or grenade. The grenade is equipped with a fuze.
