UVIS UNDER VEHICLE INSPECTION SYSTEM

The UVIS Under Vehicle Inspection System is a video camera designed for security professionals to inspect the undercarriage of vehicles

The system was created to provide a method to quickly and easily visualize the entire underside of a vehicle

The system incorporates a high-resolution color video camera with a fully integrated illumination system to provide clear views under day and night lighting conditions

Operational flexibity is maximized by the detachable color LCD video display

The system can be used with the display attached for efficient one hand operation allowing the officer to cover his weapon in high-risk searches

With the display detached, the operator is free to move the display to increase comfort or optimize viewing. With optional display extension cables, the display can be used over 30’ away from the probe

The form fitted sunshield enhances display viewing in bright sunlight conditions

The unique probe design of the Under Vehicle Inspection System provides several advantages that increase both operator safety and comfort, while giving the ability to visualize virtually any part of the underside of the vehicle

The 15 degree sweep angle of the probe handle section allows the operator to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle while conducting searches

The control handle is designed to reduce fatigue and enhance safety by allowing system operation from an upright standing position

Upright observation reduces lower back fatigue and increases safety by allowing the operator to quickly shift his focus from the detailed search to the overall scene in order to maintain situation awareness

The long extension arm of the probe gives the flexibility to place the camera at any point under the vehicle

The probe is designed to glide above the roadway with no suface contact

This permits use anywhere vehicles are operated

The articulated camera housing is remotely controlled by a push button lever located on the control grip

The combination of the 120 degree articulated camera housing and extension arm gives the system unmatched viewing capability

The UVIS can easily inspect hard to reach places like driveline tunnels, inside frame rails and along driveline components

The custom designed wide-angle optical system provides remarkable images in the very confined areas underneath the vehicle

The detailed images allow not only the observation of hidden objects, but also the observation of signs of tampering, which could indicate newly installed hidden compartments and false panels

The Under Vehicle Inspection System is designed to be tough and reliable

The system can be used in almost any weather condition, day or night.

The system comes ready for continuous operation with 2 batteries, battery charger, and sunshield.

The Under Vehicle Inspection System is backedby a full one year warranty.
