Image Capture unit
The RTVS MK V image capture unit is PC based and contains a web browser
This enables connection to any kind of laptop without additional software
The powerful device processes and transfers all images to a laptop at a very fast rate. Image quality is maximized by use of a fluoroscopic screen and camera with matched spectral output and response characteristics
For complete independence, the unit is powered by a Ni-Cad battery, which recharges in 1 hour.
The CPI 201 is the most advanced portable security X-ray generator available in the market
Powered by a 36Vdc battery, its constant potential output produces a stable, penetrating and contrast-rich beam
The small focal spot makes up to 5 times magnification possible without loss of image sharpness
The kV and mA of the CP12O1 can be regulated, to give optimum right quality of X-rays and the correct dose
EOD personnel can select output level to suit each, individual suspect item
The four successive image captures at different settings for progressive penetration depth studies makes it easy to differentiate between organic and inorganic
The wide beam angle allows the generator to be placed very close (32 cm/i 2% in) to the image capture unit, thereby increasing the effective penetration capability of the system as a whole
