RIB BOATS

Strongest RIB’s on the market.

The rigid hull and deck of our RIB’s are fabricated from GRP reinforced with Kevlar in order give extra strength.

Our RIB’s are handmade and the fabrication is done by hand lay-up.

Our RIB’s are designed and constructed in order to jump waves under full load at high speeds.

Design Overview

The MR600 & MR700 RIB are heavy duty high speed commercial river boats with composite and Kevlar reinforced hulls Propulsion is done by an outboard engines of 50HP (MR600) and 175HP (MR700) which gives an excellent and very high performance, shallow draft and unparalleled manoeuvrability.

The craft layout features a center console and offers place for 6 people including crew.

It has an big reinforced cargo deck to transport different type of goods, passengers and or equipment.

All fasteners throughout the whole craft are of A4 high grade stainless steel and feature nylon isolation washers between dissimilar metals to avoid galvanic corrosion.

Design Approval

Craft are well proven with craft in commercial service world-wide.

They are built in accordance with The Lloyds register guidelines for professional patrol boats.

Load bearing structures are designed with the aid of computer simulated finite element analysis to ensure sufficient strength and tested where applicable.

Hull & Deck

The hull is moulded as unitary mouldings manufactured from a comprehensive reinforced laminated composite structure of chopped strand mat and stitched unidirectional mat impregnated throughout with polyester resin.

The complete hull inner structure is made of very thick laminated GRP with Kevlar reinforcements.

Application is by hand strictly in accordance with design weights.

Internally the hull is reinforced with a complex system of longitudinal and transverse thick reinforced GRP laminated keels and bulkheads with intermediate deck beams to support and tie together the hull and deck.

The result is an immensely strong structure with excellent weight properties.

Each of the hull voids created by the internal hull structure is limbered to a single bilge area at the transom on the centreline.

The hull, deck and internal structure are suitably reinforced in way of samson posts, through deck fittings and lift points.
