Floor

The floor of the vehicle is designed to defeat the following hand grenades

·    Two DM 51 (German Norm) detonated simultaneously

Armouring design: Armouring design:

·    The armouring is integrated with the vehicle’s structure and is self-supporting so

as to avoid excessive stress on the vehicle’s original structure.

·    The  interior  armour-frame  provides  overlap  for  the  large-surface  armour components such as the door armour-plates and the windows.

·    Hinge mounting points are reinforced both in the pillars and in the doors where applicable  in  a  way  that  the  armouring  of  the  door  is  supported  by  the armouring of the pillar.

·    Heavy-duty hinges with in-built door-stop.

·    The Vault compartment is separated from the driver’s cab by an armoured fixed

partition.

·    The Vault compartment is separated from the guard’s compartment by a steel partition and is accessed by a swivel-out door.

                                    ·          The Guard’s compartment is accessed through a door in the rear bulkhead of the armouring, which allows the passengers to disembark without external assistance.

·    All doors are fitted with electronically-controlled interlocking high-security safety locks. Additional manual bolt-locks on all doors.

·    Fuel-tank, battery and ECU protected with steel armour-plates.

Test Reports/ Product Liability

All materials used in the production of the cabin were successfully tested against projectiles and explosives by independent laboratories. Test reports can be presented upon request or during a factory visit. The armouring of the vehicle provides protection against a wide range of projectiles and explosives. However, complete protection is not possible for reasons of design and modern military weapon technology.

Additional equipment included:

·    Upgraded suspension to cope with the additional weight due to armouring

·    Run-flat systems on all wheels

·    Intercom for communications between front cab and rear compartment
