With increasing terrorism threats and crimes expanding worldwide, standard security solutions no longer guarantee your protection

The next attack or assault can happen anytime or anywhere

All individuals or organizations that fulfill their duties during Crisis in medical, peace or social missions are affected by these developments

For them security is a necessity and not a luxury

There was a need to develop a reasonably low cost armored vehicle with highest ballistic integrity

Armor Force was thus born wherein we have designed and developed a range of state of the art Armored vehicles on the Trax platform

These vehicles have been successfully tested for its Ballistic integrity at ULB Proofhouse, the Accredidated Testing Laboratory and Certification Body in Germany making it one of the very few VEHICLES in the world to have a Certification for the complete vehicle

This is despite the Glass, Ballistic steel, and Run flats having their individual certifications

The Trax is Armored to:

European Level B6 – NIJ Level III

Classification DIN EN 1522 + DIN EN 1063 & BRV1999

What makes the Trax so special……

Trax 4 wheel drive vehicles directly trace their lineage to the legendary Mercedes G wagon

Being one of the world's most capable and comfortable off road vehicles, it is exported to various armies worldwide

The vehicle is a formidable off roader with impeccable on road performance

It has many features that are impossible to find in most of the so called off-road vehicles any where in the world

The level of mechanical refinement and technology in the vehicle is a couple of decades ahead of the competition

Ballistic Protection:

• Six sided armoring of passenger cabin to give maximum protection against 7.62 x 51mm Nato ball in accordance with EN 1522 & EN 1063 European level B6 – NIJ Level III & BRV1999

• A, B, C & D pillars are protected with armor this includes front fenders, (wings) rear wheel humps & firewall. This adds structural rigidity to the overall vehicle

• All passenger doors are fitted with overlap system and antispall guard which provides maximum strength retention to prevent penetration through door posts & pillars

• Vehicles armor plates are stitch-welded using high-intensity MIG welders. The above process ensures the structural integrity is uncompromised by thermal and chemical variations of the material

• The glass is installed using ballistic grade steel frame for added protection which gives extra support to help prevent cracks & fractures this also provides back up protection around these potentially weak areas which are commonly missed by other manufactures

• The hinges are bolted directly onto the armor through the pillars & the doors this prevents stress on the hinges and the internal panels which usually crack under the strain

Transparent Armor

• Flat glass, PVB/polycarbonate laminate 6.2kgs./sq.ft (13.7lbs/sq.ft) – Thickness is 39mm.

• Glass is manufactured using quality & strict selection of materials which provides the following features, Anti-Spall shield protects against glass splinters, chemical attacks. Autoclave temperature allows the polycarbonate to lose its memory to prevent delaminating & internal stress. The glass also provides multi hit protection.

• The ballistic performance of bullet resistance glass is diminished when the glass is exposed to high temperatures plus ensures total ballistic resistance performance for a longer period of time.

• Glass is tested in accordance with EN 1522 & EN 1063 European Level B6 – NIJ Level III & BRV1999

Standard Security Features

• Run flat devices fitted in all wheels including the spare which enables the vehicle to be driven at 50 KMPH for 60 KMS on being shot

• Fuel tank & water separator encased with ballistic steel to protect against explosive device projectiles

• All four passenger doors fitted with heavy duty webbed door straps

• Battery is protected within an armored box in the engine compartment

• Exhaust protection to prevent foreign objects being inserted
